On the drive back from Syracuse this weekend, I was zooming along, finally free of the snow, when I saw the red and blue lights of a Sheriff's truck behind me. I told Kim about the cop and made my way onto the right-side shoulder. I turned off the engine, rolled down my window, and placed my hands on the wheel where they were visible to the officer. I waited wild mild anxiety as the white, broad, shaved-headed cop walked along side my car:
"Do you know why I stopped you today?"
"I have an idea," I didn't need to volunteer anything.
"I got you going XX in a 65. Can I see your license and registration?"
I handed over the documents and he asked, "Do you have any outstanding tickets or warrants I need to know about?"
"No, officer. Nothing like that."
"Is this where you currently live?"
"Yes."
"I'll be right back."
The cop took four steps away, and I turned to Kim. I figured it was as simple as that. I was getting a ticket. No need to do anything but deal with it in due course.
I looked into my side mirror and the cop was walking back. He hadn't gotten to his car yet, so I figured he must've had another question.
I rolled down the window and the cop reached his hand into the car. He handed me my license and registration and said, "It's your lucky day. That guy didn't pull over, so I'm getting him instead." I swear to god. That's what he said. I have to assume he meant that some other car came barreling by and almost hit the cop. Whatever the case, it was a Speeding Miracle!
When the cop pulled away, I sat still for 2 seconds before letting out a huge laugh. Kim looked at me like I was crazy for a moment before joining it.
I was dead to rights. He knew I was an out-of-towner and he was walking to his car with my information. And then, BOOM!!, worse offendor!
The rush of adrenaline reminded me of the blog's namesake, that high you get in poker from running a bluff or hitting the nuts. And that worse offendor was like hitting a one outter on the river.

I'm hoping making a thread like this will encourage people to post sick bluffs, nice calls, or actual hands to analyse (then hopefully we can get insight from the villain in the hand too). Also a place for me to show when I make a soulread allin call with bottom pair and get shown top set.
I know people post hands in the thread each week however these often get lost between the banter. Imo having it's own thread will make people post some as well.
I'm making it now as I'll forget later.

What did they have?
Both had AJ and split pot?
One bets out with J on flop. The other thinks cant have a 7 then and raises. First thinks they cant have a seven if they are raising that flop and calls. Etc to river.
Completely wrong?

I was going to reraise/shove on the flop which is what I should have done as I didn't think you where very strong. When you shove the turn once again I didn't think you had much and was pretty sure you didn't have the flush. There would be no point you shoving there with a flush.
I was also pretty sure you didn't have the ace so my thoughts where that I had 9 spades, 2 kings and 3 jacks to hit and felt I was pot committed at that point.
All in all I should have just shoved over you on the flop to take it down.
